Where do TCX files come from?
TCX is Garmin's older training format, still exported by Garmin Connect, Strava, Zwift, TrainerRoad and many indoor trainers. GPX is the more universally supported format for maps and route tools.
Is heart rate kept?
Yes. Heart rate and cadence from the TCX are written into the GPX using Garmin's TrackPointExtension, which Strava and most tools read.
Is my file uploaded?
